Farewell to 2nd Year Undergraduate Animators

Farewell to our 2nd year animators - see you in September!
A fond farewell to our second year animation students, who leave us after a successful term in which they have created nine short animated films, many of which are already winning festival awards.

Our animation students will now have the long summer holidays to forget everything they have learned (surely - keep working on their projects? - Ed) and will be back in September to start the VFX Project, a collaboration with VFX undergraduates.

Second Year Success
This year's second year undergraduate students have set the bar even higher for animation at Escape Studios.  Among their achievements are dominating the "Knight Spider" Competition at the Rookies, in which four of the ten finalists were students at Escape Studios.

Award-Winning films
They have also contributed shots to our latest Animals and Creatures Demo Reel, and also completed nine short films, working together in groups.  Many of these shorts are already in competition, and a number have  won prizes.  To see a selection of their award-winning films, take a look at "The Wanderer", "Love, Mum", "Hannibelle", and "Spitfire"

VFX Project
We wish our students well over the summer, and encourage them to keep thinking about story ideas for the VFX Project starting in September.

The Escape Studios Animation Blog offers a personal view on the art of animation and visual effects. To apply for our BA/MArt in 3D Animation, follow this link.  To apply for our storyboarding evening class, visit this page here. For the next 12 week animation course, click here.
