Many congratulations to Paolo Amadini, who is currently working as an Animation TD at MPC, joining many other Escapees at the fast-growing animation and VFX studio.

Paolo took our MA in 3D Animation at Escape Studios, where he directed the short film "Palindromo", which has won many festival awards.

MPC is one of the UK's largest and most successful animation and VFX houses, responsible for blockbuster hits such as The Jungle Book and the 2019 re-make of The Lion King.

Introducing "Palindromo"

We are proud to present "Palindromo", the latest animated short film created at Escape Studios, written and directed by Paolo Amadini, and overseen by Supervising Tutor Amedeo Beretta. 

"Palindromo" is a science-fiction short exploring the logical conundrum behind time travel. 

"Palindromo" translates into English as "palindrome", meaning a short sentence which is spelled the same forwards and backwards (a famous example of a palindrome is: "a man, a plan, a canal, panama").

Paolo Amadini is a student at Escape Studios, studying for his MA in the Art of Computer Animation. 

"Palindromo" was completed as part of the final animation module, in which students must complete a short film project of their own.
