Our Third Year animation & vfx students are currently tackling PR6001, a Studio Project module worth 60 Credits and which runs for the whole academic year.  In PR6001 our animation and vfx students work together in teams to create short films - winning many festival awards.

Students work together in a module designed as closely as possible to simulate working on a live client brief.

Introducing "iCare"

iCare | Student Short Film - Escape Studios from Bruno Urzì on Vimeo.

Escape Studios is proud to present "iCare", the latest short film created by our third year animation and vfx students at Escape Studios.  Directed by Bruno Urzi and produced by Alex Sellen,  iCare was a collaboration between undergraduate animation and vfx students, working together to create an original story.  Studio projects such as this one are part of what we call The Escape Method - bringing together students with multiple talents to work in teams and produce an industry-quality outcome.

VFX Project at Escape Studios Starts 20 Sept

award-winning Jerich0
On Monday our third year animation students start work on The VFX Project, part of Studio Module PR6001, in which our animation students collaborate with VFX students to create short films.

Students write a script, produce a storyboard animatic, film live action plates, scan and track the plates, create and animate the characters, light and render their shots, and add sound design.

The process is just like working on a live client project in a real studio, with a focus on collaboration and problem-solving.
