Knight Spider Contest Finalists

Once again our students have turned in a great performance for "The Rookies", the international VFX organisation which last year organised a global animation contest for their new "Knight Spider" rig, which you can find here. 

The Knight Spider Challenge opened on 24 September 2021, and closed on 14 January 2022.

We're delighted to announce that four of the ten finalists are students at Escape Studios. This is an amazing result - no other school succeeded in getting more than one name onto the board. 

Many congratulations to Eren Arnold, Matdawna J. Philipp, Wiktor Brodowski and Anthony Sarmiento on making it to the finals of the Knight Spider Challenge.

Knight Spider Challenge

Students who entered Knight Spider Challenge had to share their work-in-progress in what The Rookies described as "a Play-by-Play contest that requires entrants to add multiple updates to your entry page". 

Global Competition

The Knight Spider Challenge received 61 entries from 31 schools in 20 countries around the globe. 

We are delighted that Four Escape Studios' students made the list of ten finalists.

The winners of the Knight Spider Challenge will be announced on 3 February 2022.
