2024 Saturday Club showcase

Escape Studios attended the 2024 Saturday Club Summer Showcase last weekend and presented our Saturday Club students with their graduation certificates.  

Saturday Club students from this year's cohort attended with their families, with their artwork being publicly showcased at Somerset House in London.

Thanks to all our staff for giving up their time to teach the Saturday Club.  Applications for the 2024 Saturday Club are now open; it takes place from 2nd November 2024 to 15th March 2025. Applications for Saturday Club close on 22nd Sept 2024.

Saturday Club is Back - January 2020

Escape Studios Saturday Club, part of the National Saturday Club Campaign, is back.

Saturday Club starts up in January 2020; in the meantime you can register your interest here.

Saturday Club is open to students between the ages of 13-16, and aims to give them a taste of life in the creative industries, such as animation, visual effects and games.

Saturday Club is open to all, but is especially aimed at students from disadvantaged backgrounds, many of whom lack the opportunity at school to tackle creative subjects.

Animation Summer School 8-10 August

This Summer Escape Studios is partnering with Access VFX, London SIGGRAPH, 3Dami, and and We Are Stripes to host our very own Animation Summer School.

This free outreach event takes place over three days in August,  and is aimed at 11-16-year olds interested in a career in the animation industry.

Escape Studios will host a range of free workshops across 3 days on Thursday 8th August, Friday 9th August and Saturday 10th August.

Saturday Club End of Year Show June 9-17

The Escape Studios Saturday Club End of Year Show will be on display at Somerset House from 9th-17th June. In addition, private viewings for VIPs, family and friends will take place on 9th/10th and 16th/17th June.

The Saturday Club show is the culmination of all the hard work that has been created as part of the Escape Studios Saturday Club Campaign, launched as part of Escape's 15th anniversary celebrations, and part of our committment to making animation, games and VFX training more diverse and more widely accessible.
