Death From Above Best Trailer at Halicarnassus

Many congratulations to the makers of "Death From Above", which has won "Best Trailer" at the Halicarnassus film festival.

It's a well-deserved award for a film which was also a finalist in the TMFF - The Monthly Film Festival on April 30th.

Death From Above
Death From Above was directed by 2nd year animation student Jordan Coles, and produced by Callum Wylie.

Death From Above
Death From Above was completed as part of Studio Module PR5001, in which students collaborate together on short film projects.  Six students created Escape Studios' very first animated horror trailer.

The film was animated in Maya, rendered in Unreal Engine 4, and edited in Adobe Premiere and After Effects.  Directed by Jordan Coles, and produced by Callum Wylie, the project was edited by Daniel Brand-Sinyinza, and the CG supervisor was Edoardo Sartori. Storyboarding was by Niki Valera and Tequila Mason.


Covid-19
The project was completed entirely during the Lockdown. The Death From Above team worked from home, completing the project using their personal computers.

Rendering
Rendering was done in Unreal Engine, overseen by CG Supervisor Edoardo Sartori.

Offcut
Offcut, directed by Petroc Menuhin, has won multiple festival awards. The film follows the adventures of a discarded scrap of wood who comes to life and finds meaning in music, will be screened at:

Planet Mars
Sebastian Kuder's short film "Planet Mars" has been selected for the Baghdad University International Film & TV Festival.

Quarantine Chorus
Quarantine Chorus: Winner - "Best Animation"
"Quarantine Chorus", the short film recently completed by our second-year animation students at Escape Studios about life under the Corona Lockdown, has already won two awards: Best Animation at the Berlin Flash Film Festival, and also Best Super Short Film at the Prague Monthly Film Festival.

Directed by Edoardo Sartori and produced by Nickoel Izharudin, the film was based on an original idea by Tequila Mason.  Quarantine Chorus has also been selected for
