"Unreal Fortnight" Free Training 15-26 March

Escape Studios is proud to announce "Unreal Fortnight", a new training opportunity for real-time rendering in Unreal Engine from 15-26 March.    

Escape Studios is partnering with Epic Games and ScreenSkills to create "Unreal Fortnight", a series of short training courses in Unreal Engine,  to help retrain UK film production in the latest rendering  technology. The course is free for freelancers and furloughed workers; there is a small fee for sole traders and micro-SMEs.

The ability to create and visualise 3D computer imagery in real time is changing the way filmmakers, VFX artists, animators, graphic artists, film directors and producers work.  In addition, Covid has accelerated developments in virtual production.  The possibilities offered by physical sets augmented with CGI will demand new skills of cinematographers, animators, artists, directors and commissioners.

Free and Subsidised Training
 "Unreal Fortnight" offers free training in Unreal Engine from 15-26 March. The course is free for furloughed workers and freelancers and heavily subsidised on a sliding scale for sole traders and employees in micro-SMEs and larger companies.

"Unreal Fortnight" 15-26 March

"Unreal Fortnight" follows the success of our "Unreal Bootcamp", that helped to re-skill over a hundred VFX artists furloughed from some of the biggest companies in the UK. Escape Studios is now looking to assist smaller companies, sole traders and freelancers with a strong remit to spread Unreal Engine skills across the regions and nations. 

Unreal Engine Authorized Training Center
Having recently become the UK’s only Unreal Engine Authorised Training Center, Escape Studios worked closely with Epic Games to design the flexible online curriculum.  The two-week class will teach the fundamentals of Unreal Engine and the real-time rendering pipeline.
