Meet the "BoxBots"

Meet "BoxBots", the latest short film produced by our students at Escape Studios. 

Directed by Jordan Coles and Ross Green, and produced by Priya Shah"BoxBots" is a short animated comedy about a boxing match between two plastic figurines, who must fight for the "World Plasticweight Championship".

"BoxBots" was completed as part of the third year animation Module PR6001, a Studio Project worth 60 Credits.

In this module our animation students and VFX students combine forces to produce a short visual effects film, learning how to produce animation within the VFX pipeline.  "BoxBots" (which you can find at Instagram here) is currently being entered into film festivals.

About "BoxBots"
Directed by Jordan Coles and Ross Green, and produced by Priya Shah, "BoxBots" is a short animated film about a boxing match between two plastic figurines, who must fight for the "World Plasticweight Championship". 

Award-Winning Team

This is the second short film directed by Jordan Coles at Escape Studios.  Last year Jordan directed the multiple-award-winning "Death From Above", a teaser-trailer for a proposed action-adventure-horror web series.  


Producer Priya Shah is also an award-winner for her work producing the short animated comedy "Animal Lover", which last year won "Best Animation" at the Flicks Film Festival in London

Module PR6001
"BoxBots" was completed as part of the third year animation Module PR6001, a Studio Project worth 60 Credits, overseen by UG Program Leader Michael Davies. In PR6001 our animation and VFX students combine forces over 12 weeks to produce a short animated film combining live action and animation.
