"Seeker" wins "Best Trailer" at the Vesuvius Fest

Many congratulations to Escapee Rassoul Edji, whose short film "Seeker" has won "Best Trailer" at the Vesuvius Film Festival. 

This is the seventh festival win (plus four nominations) for "Seeker", a short sci-fi film directed by Rassoul Edji, about a giant robot running amok in suburban England.

About "Seeker"

"Seeker" was directed by Rassoul Edji, produced by Tosin Ogunleye, and overseen by supervising tutors Jonathan McFall and Allar Kaasik.

The live action shoot on Seeker was filmed in a modernist villa in Kent, just before Lockdown 1.0 in March 2020.

Festival Success

This is the seventh festival award for "Seeker", which has also received four festival nominations.

• "Best Trailer" at the Bucharest Shortcut Film Fest
• "Best VFX" at the Flicks Film Festival in London
• Best Low Budget Film at the Assurdo Film Festival in Milan
• "Best Short" at Lisbon Film Fest
• "Best Cinematography" at the European Film Festival
• Finalist at the 2020 Rookies
• Nominated for Best Director at the Prague Film Festival.
