Many congratulations to Escapee Cherelle Owusu who has recently started a new job as a Shot Creator for The Third Floor, specialists in pre and post visualisation.

While at Escape Studios, Cherelle directed the short film "Flame", which has won multiple festival awards, and even secured a licensing deal with a major US Airline.

Cherelle is one of a number of Escapees to join The Third Floor in recent months.

The Third Floor
The Third Floor specialises in visualisation ("previs" and also "postvis") in which digital artists work closely with the director to lock down the look and feel of a project sequence, helping to make creative choices on camera and character performance.

While at Escape Studios, Cherelle directed the short film "Flame", which has won multiple festival awards including Best Animation at the LISFF, Best Editor at the "We Make Films Festival" and a Five-Star Award at the British International Amateur Film Festival. Flame was directed by Cherelle Owusu, produced by Carolina Xavier, and overseen by supervising tutor Amedeo Beretta.

Cherelle took our MA in 3D Animation at Escape Studios, and joins a growing number of Escapees who have recently joined The Third Floor as opportunities in previsualisation and real-time rendering (much of the work is done in Unreal Engine) continue to expand:
