Flame Wins Best Animation at the LISFF

Many congratulations to the makers of the short film "Flame", which has won Best Animation at the London International Student Film Festival (LISFF).

"Flame" has won multiple festival awards including Best Editor at the "We Make Films Festival" in London and a Five-Star Award at the British International Amateur Film FestivalFlame was directed by Cherelle Owusu, produced by Carolina Xavier, and overseen by supervising tutor Amedeo Beretta.

About "Flame"


"Flame" wins Best Editor
Flame is a two minute short film, completed in 2019 by our MA animation students as part of their fourth module, AN7004, a studio project. In this module, students collaborate together on a group project, simulating as close as possible a studio environment. The film was overseen by supervising tutor Amedeo Beretta.

Festival success
"Flame" has already enjoyed festival success, having won awards at the London Seasonal Short Film Festival and the British International Amateur Film Festival.
