Amedeo Beretta teaches at Escape Studios

We're delighted to welcome back veteran animator and animation tutor Amedeo Beretta who is returning to teach our second year animation students the art of animal and creature animation. 

Amedeo has worked on many major animation and VFX projects including Paul, John Carter and Planet 51.

Amedeo is also our in-house expert on Motion Capture, having led classes in MoCap and supervised the award-winning MoCap short "Alma", which has won multiple festival awards.

Amedeo studied the History of Cinema and Theatre at the University of Milan, and later worked for Double Negative, Scanline VFX, and Ilion Animation Studios.  Amedeo has a Master's degree in 3D Animation; he also does concept art, modeling, texturing and shading, rigging, animation, rendering and compositing.

L5 AN5002 - Animals and Creatures

Amedeo will be teaching at Escape Studios one day a week, every Tuesday, demonstrating animation techniques to our second year animation students who are working on Module AN5002, in which they learn the art and craft of animal and creature locomotion.  Amedeo will be teaching group Judge Doom in Toontown on Tuesday mornings, and group Starks in Winterfell on Tuesday afternoons.
