Klaudija Cermak - 2D VFX
Klaudija Cermak teaches VX5002 the Art of Compositing for VFX to our second year undergraduate students at Escape Studios
Klaudija has over 20 years experience on commercials, broadcast TV and feature films. Klaudija has worked at most of the major post-production houses in London including MPC, Mill, Millfilm, Framestore, Double Negative and Glassworks.

Alex's film credits include Who Framed Roger Rabbit, The Thief and The Cobbler, The Ling King, The Iron Giant, Robots, and three of the Harry Potter films. Alex has worked for most of the major animation studios including Disney, DreamWorks, Fox, Sony and Warner Bros.
Marc Stevenson - Animation
Marc Stevenson teaches our second year undergraduate students character and creature animation, including Module AN5002, in which students tackle the art of animal and creature animation, and also AN5001, in which students learn character acting, dialogue and lipsync.

Marc is an experienced animator with credits on many VFX hits including Fast & Furious 6, Avengers, Age of Ultron, Underdog, Beverly Hills Chihuahua, Moon, and Victor Frankenstein. Marc has also created many tutorials for our students, which you can find at our Animation Vimeo Channel.

Klaudija Cermak - 2D VFX

Klaudija has over 20 years experience on commercials, broadcast TV and feature films. Klaudija has worked at most of the major post-production houses in London including MPC, Mill, Millfilm, Framestore, Double Negative and Glassworks.
Klaudija's feature film credits include hits such as Ridley Scott's Gladiator, ‘Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets’ and ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows’. You can listen to Klaudija's VFX Podcast here.
Simon Browne - Houdini
Veteran VFX artist Simon Browne joined us in early January 2023 to teach Houdini to our second year undergraduate VFX students, as part of their Specialism Module CR5001. Simon Browne has worked in TV, advertising and corporate media, creating animation and procedural simulations.
Carlos Poon teaches VX5001 3D VFX to our second year undergraduate students. You can read more about VX5001 here. Carlos has worked across all major 3D industries for many years, starting in industrial design, then working as Assistant Technical Supervisor on the BAFTA winning TV series 'Tiny Planets'.
Simon Browne - Houdini
Simon Browne |
Simon Browne specialises in simulation-based animation, but he is also an experienced 3D generalist and keyframe animator with over 20 years of experience.
Simon has experience with matchmove and coding, and is skilled in Maya, Houdini, 3DSMax, Redshift, After Effects and Unity.
Carlos Poon - 3D VFX
Carlos Poon |
Carlos worked as FMV supervisor for five games titles including "Lego Bionicles", and worked as a VFX Artist on the HBO series "Rome" and on the Oscar-winning "Inception". Carlos Poon has worked at VFX studios including Double Negative and Cinesite.
