Eilin Berrio Pena

Many congratulations to Escapee Eilin Berrio Pena, who has recently joined Aardman Animation's "Pop Paper City" as an animator.

"Pop Paper City" is a new animated TV series being developed by Aardman Animation, one of the UK's leading animation companies.

While at Escape Studios, Eilin directed the award-winning film "Malloe", and contributed to many other award-winning projects. 

Pop Paper City

Pop Paper City is a preschool craft TV show. The series focuses on a group of paper friends as they find ways to have fun together by creating new parts of their stunning paper world. Eilin joins Escapees Kevin Richards and Simone Costa who are already animating on the show.

At Escape Studios Eilin Berrio Pena directed the award-winning film "Malloe", and contributed to many other award-winning projects, including the award-winning short "Nefertiti" in 2020.  She also contributed to two more award-winning films: "Street Ratz" and "Little Gestures".  You can find Eilin at the IMDB here.

Create Craft
Pop Paper City teaches children how to craft along with the characters, encouraging ‘doing as well as viewing’. Each episode features a craft sequence, in which a live-action human hand interacts with the 3D environment, assisting the characters with the crafting process and showing the audience how to follow along at home.
