Many congratulations to Escapee Tim Jones who is working as an animator at Random42 Scientific Communication, a US and UK-based animation studio specialising in medical animation and education, virtual reality, augmented and mixed reality animation.

Tim took our master's degree in 3D animation at Escape Studios, where he put together a strong animation demo reel, and built a LinkedIn profile with embedded links to his demo reel and website. 

Medical Animation

Tim joins a growing number of Escapees who have lately joined the medical animation industry, a rapidly expanding field in which animators help to create interactive videos that actually help to save lives. 

Life-saving surgery

Imagine a junior surgeon learning how to perform complex life-saving surgery.  Instead of doing his or her operation for the first time on your beloved granny, that same surgeon carries out the surgery through an interactive animated video. By the time they are let loose on real patients, they already know what to expect - and how to do it.
