Many congratulations to Escapee Laura Knight who has started a new job as a Layout Artist at Jellyfish Pictures, one of London's leading animation houses.

Laura took our MA in 3D Animation and worked hard on polishing her demo reel, eventually finding work at Jellyfish Pictures.

Laura joins Escapees Luis Marcillo-Coronado, Henry Fenwick and Rory Marchant who also found animation jobs at Jellyfish after graduating from Escape Studios.

3D Layout
Laura's new job is in 3D Layout at Jellyfish Pictures, an important part of the production pipeline which is analogous to cinematography on a live action set. 3D Layout artists have to figure out camera, shot continuity, cinematography,  and visual storytelling. The Head of Layout is one the key creative roles on a TV Series or feature film.
