Melissa Coarezza

Many congratulations to Escapee Melissa Coarezza, who has secured a position as a technical animator at the Italian video game company Milestone s.r.l.

After a year at MPC film in London working on the production of Maleficent 2 - Mistress of Evil, Melissa, who took our 12 week course in 3D Animation, has joined the TechArt team at Milestone, in her home town of Milan.

Technical animation is a growing area of the animation industry, one where opportunities and jobs are rapidly expanding.

Melissa graduated from Escape Studios after studying on our 12 week short course in animation, following which she secured a place at the Technicolour Academy, and became a junior animator at MPC in London.

At Technicolour Academy, a learning and development program supporting VFX talent ready to step into a career at MPC, Melissa further developed her animation skills, and ended up animating on the Disney feature film Maleficent 2 - Mistress of Evil, starring Angelina Jolie.

Milestone s.r.l.

Melissa has now moved back to her native Milan, where she will continue to develop her animation skills in the field of technical animation at Milestone s.r.l.
