| Studio Projects at Escape |
We don't do Studio Projects because they are easy, we do them because they are hard. The animation and visual effects industries are a team sport, and it's vital that we prepare our students for the realities of working in - and for - a team. And this means figuring how to work successfully with other people in the workplace.
Group projects are something we do a lot of at Escape Studios. Animation is a team sport - almost all of our graduates will end up working in teams along side other artists on group projects in commercial studios.

Working with Strangers
These team-mates are very likely to be strangers, and they may sometimes be people we don't really like to work with. In industry, we don't always (or even often) get to choose our colleagues - but we have to work with them anyway. Facing these challenges - and overcoming them - is all part of our students' education.
As Rookies'; founder Andrew MaDonal puts it: "We believe that schools emulating a production studio experience offer a significant advantage to students".
