3D VFX Taster Day Sat 14 October 2023

On Saturday 14th October 2023 at 10am we're hosting a 3D VFX "Taster Day" at our new Escape Studios North Greenwich Campus.  Taster days are a great chance to find out more about the courses at Escape Studios, how they run and who teaches them.  

Come along on Saturday and learn the basics of 3D Modeling, how to create simple geometry, and make it look real.

VFX is the jewel in the crown at Escape Studios, it's at the heart of what we do, where we began 20 years ago when the VFX Industry was just starting to expand.  

3D VFX Taster

Our tutor will provide an introduction to 3D VFX techniques such as creating simple geometry, UV mapping, texturing, bump maps, lighting, animation, basic compositing and rendering, as well as an introduction to the CG pipeline.

VFX Production - No 1 in the UK

Back in the early 2000s there were few places in the UK where students could learn the necessary skills to land that crucial first job in the industry. We've come a long way since then; last year Escape Studios was ranked No 1 in the UK by The Rookies for VFX Production.

Where and When

The 3D VFX Taster takes place at our new North Greenwich home at 6 Mitre Passage, North Greenwich, SE10 0ER on Wednesday 20th September 2023. It starts at 10am and lasts until 5pm. The day costs £10.
