Taster Classes are a great chance to learn about character and creature animation, and find out what an animator's job is all about.
You will learn how to use Autodesk Maya and get a hands-on introduction to 3D Animation techniques. No prior knowledge of Maya - or any software - is required.

| Taster Day with Lee Caller |
Cartoony Vehicle
The project will involve animating a cartoon vehicle driving and skidding around a corner, with the camera chasing - and will equal approx. 3 to 5 seconds of animation.
The session will include a 20 minute introduction to the basics of Autodesk Maya, 30minutes to animate the truck and 10 minutes to create a camera and produce a video.
If you would like to follow along live with this session (which we recommend), you will need to install a free copy of Maya, which you can do here. Either download the student license or (even easier) the 30 day trial version.
