Escape Studios Games Animation Reel

We're proud to present our very first Escape Studios' Games Animation Demo Reel, focused on the art and craft of animation for the games industry.  This latest demo reel features the work of Escape Studios students Aaron Hopwood, Christopher Marsden-Carlton, Sebastian Kuder, Molly Babington, Wiktor Brodowska and Conall Ferguson. The video game "Novem" was a group project completed by Erin Harrison, Dutton Daniel, Piraveen Satkunam, Louise Kalyango, Maria Robertson, Callum Walters, Alex Budulan, and James Cooper.  "Novem" was overseen by supervising tutor Amedeo Beretta. The reel was cut by Escapee Miguel Teixera

Games Animation
Maciej "Rising Star" Award
Games Animation is a large and growing part of the animation
industry. Games animation tends to focus heavily on body mechanics - especially armed combat - as well as cut scenes, cinematics, and digital stunt work.

Escapees in Games
Many of our Escapees have gone on to work in the games industry, and some of our students have won awards for games animation, such as Maciej Osuch who won a "Rising Star" Award in the category of Games Animation at the "Search for a Star" Awards, hosted by Grads in Games.

Industry Specialisms
Here at Escape Studios we encourage our students to specialise in particular disciplines within the field of animation, helping them to tailor their demo reels to the specific needs of a particular industry - in this case the needs of the games industry.

The Escape Studios Animation Blog offers a personal view on the art of animation and visual effects. To apply for our new BA/MArt starting in September 2022, follow this link. We train all our students with practical real-world skills, to give them the best possible chance of a career in industry. To see some of our animation success stories, follow this link.
