The clock is ticking to apply for a scholarship to study on one of our postgraduate degrees in 3D Animation, Game Art, 3D VFX, 2D VFX, and Storyboarding & Previsualisation.

At Escape Studios we offer a £8,000 scholarship to one successful applicant for each postgraduate degree, significantly reducing the cost of study.

2019 scholars
Our 2019 scholars were announced last year.  We were very impressed with the quality of the portfolios we received:

• Storyboarding & Previsualisation - Molly Babington

Molly Babington has since gone on to direct the award-winning short film "Moon Rockz", which recently won the "Most Witty Animation" award at the Animafantasia Film Festival. You can read about the film here. Molly also has a storyboarding credit on two more films: Animal Lover, and the award-winning Street Ratz.

MA Animation Scholarship
We offer a scholarship to one MA animation student, worth up to £8,000. You can find the details here.

Animation scholar Giada Carnevaletti is currently working as a studio assistant at Escape Studios, helping to teach the next generation of talent.

Scholarship selection process
Based on each student's application and creative portfolio, Escape Studios' tutors will select a scholar for each course. The final scholarship winners will be notified prior to the start of the course.  Our tutors will make a decision based on the following criteria:

• the applicant's creative portfolio
• the applicant's personal statement
• the applicant's ability to excel on the degree programme
