Minuet Wins Best Animation at Marcellus Fest

Many congratulations to the makers of Minuet, which has won "Best Animation" at the Marcellus Mini Movie Family Film Festival in upstate New York

Minuet is one of our most ambitious short films to date, and tells the story of a young girl preparing for her first concert recital. Struck by misfortune, she finds help in the unlikeliest of places.



About "Minuet"
With a running time of just under six minutes, Minuet is one of our most ambitious short films.  Minuet tells the story of a young concert pianist who, while preparing for her next performance, encounters misfortune - and finds help in an unlikely place.  

Credits
Overseen by third year animation tutor Michael Davies, the project was animated in Maya, and rendered in Unreal Engine.

Minuet was written and directed by Harry Pearson, who is currently working at the 3rd Floor in London, co-directed by Aaron Hopwood, who is now a Studio Assistant at Escape Studios, and produced by Maddison Gould, who is working as a production assistant at Playstation in London.
