Student Showcase - Working With Dinosaurs

Many congratulations to our second year animators on their excellent short film "Working with Dinosaurs". Working with Dinosaurs is a documentary short film completed last month by 2nd year undergraduate animation students at Escape Studios, working alongside industry mentors from Framestore animation studio.  Directed by Daniel Dutton and Harry Pearson, Produced by Velvet Brandon, Storyboards and Art Direction by Sarah Andrews, Effects Animation by Adam Scrivener, CG supervision by Piotr Noworyta. Well done to them all on their excellent work, and a thousand thanks to the folks at Framestore for their enduring patience and support.

Working with Dinosaurs was part of the animation students' second year "Studio Project" module, in which students collaborate together for the first time to create a group project. Six students had six weeks to complete the film, from concept to final completion.

The Escape Studios Animation Blog offers a personal view on the art of animation and visual effects. To find out more about our new BA/MArt, now recruiting for September 2019, follow this link.   To apply, visit the official page here.
