Our guests are Escapees Adam Dewhirst (Tenet, John Carter, World War Z) and Oly Spinks, Head of CGI at Figment Productions.
The theme for this "Evening With..." event is teamwork - why it matters - and how to do it right.
Group projects are something we do a lot of at Escape Studios. Animation is a team sport - almost all of our graduates will end up working in teams along side other artists on group projects in commercial studios.
Evening With...
Our "Evening With..." events are an opportunity for our Escapees, current students and soon-to-be-Escapees to meet working professionals in person, listen to their experiences, and find out more about how the industry actually works.
Where and When
Our next "Evening With" - The Teamwork Event takes place on 30 January 2025 at 5.30pm Online and in the 11th Floor Breakout Space at 6 Mitre Passage.

Working with Strangers
These team-mates are very likely to be strangers, and they may sometimes be people we don't really like to work with. In industry, we don't always (or even often) get to choose our colleagues - but we have to work with them anyway. Facing these challenges - and overcoming them - is all part of our students' education.
As Rookies'; founder Andrew MaDonal puts it: "We believe that schools emulating a production studio experience offer a significant advantage to students".
