Congratulations to Escapee Alba Rodriguez Castell who has started work as a junior animator at 23 Lunes Animation Studio in Barcelona. 

Alba came to us on exchange from La Salle in Barcelona, studying the Art of Computer Animation at Escape Studios, and joining us for two modules, Specialism Module CR5001 and Studio Production Module PR5001.

While at Escape Studios, Alba wrote and directed the award-winning animated short film "Explosive Love", a group project which has won many festival awards.

23 Lunes Animation

Escape Studios runs a student exchange programme with La Salle, part of the Ramon Llull University in Barcelona, Catalonia.  La Salle offers degrees in Engineering, Architecture, Business, Digital Arts and Animation. Technology and innovation.

In 2022 four Escape students travelled to Barcelona to study, and three students from La Salle joined us at Escape Studios, two studying the Art of Computer Animation and one studying the Art of Visual Effects.

The exchange program is a welcome opportunity for us to build links with animation schools overseas, and widen our students' horizons.

23 Lunes

23 Lunes is an Animation Production Company based in Barcelona.  It was founded by directors Jordi Garcia and Bor Arroyo, specialising in 3D animation for feature films, advertising and game cinematics.

Explosive Love

"Explosive Love", was a studio project in which Second year animation students work together to collaborate on a short film. It has won many festival awards.
