Welcome to Gamebridge! 1 July 2023

£5,000 of prizes to be won by student contestants
We're recommending the free live event "Gamebridge" to all our games and animation students, especially our recent graduates. 

"Gamebridge" takes place on Saturday 1 July 2023 at Anglia Ruskin University; you can find out more at the official site here.

About Gamebridge
"Gamebridge" is a charitable organisation established to provide students with the opportunities needed to secure employment within the video game, and related creative industries. 

Free Live Event
Anglia Rusking University
This summer, The Gamebridge Student Games Festival is a free live-event on Saturday 1st July 2023 in Cambridge, hosted by Anglia Ruskin University. 

It has been designed to highlight the best work created by students from across the country, as well as supporting all attendees in their journey towards a career in the games industry.  The event is open to all FE/HE students that are 17+, as well as those that have graduated from those institutions but have not yet found a job in the games industry. 

Open to Students
Gamebridge is open to students from non-game courses, such as computer science, animation, sound/music, writing and film - as long as they have an interest in working in the games industry.  

Industry Talks & Roundtable Discussions
The Gamebridge day will include the following: - Industry Talks & Roundtable Discussions - 1:1 Portfolio Reviews - Industry Recruitment Booths - Showcase of Student Work.     

£5,000 Prize Money
Gamebridge will culminate in an awards ceremony where the best and most exciting games related work will be recognised by our games industry sponsors, with over £5,000 of prize money to be awarded to individual and team entries. 

Frontier, TT Games and Jagex
Gamebridge sponsors this year include Frontier Developments and Jagex, and currently representatives from ten games companies are confirmed to attend. These include TT Games, Soul Assembly, and Microsoft.
