Shelley Page "Eye Candy" Show Thurs 11 May 2023

Escape Studios is delighted to welcome back Locksmith Animation's Shelley Page tomorrow Thursday 11 May at 10am for her long-awaited "Eye Candy Show" - a selection of the latest graduation films and commercials from around the world.

As Key Talent and Artist Liaison at Locksmith Animation, Shelley travels the world searching out the best animation talent, and finding the best student short films. 

The event takes place at 10am on Thursday in Room 2.1 at 190 High Holborn.

Shelley's film credits include "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?", "Shrek 1-4", "Shark Tale", "Madagascar", "Kung Fu Panda", and "How to Train Your Dragon".

Shelley is currently Key Talent and Artist Liaison at Locksmith Animation in London, the studio that last year released "Ron's Gone Wrong"

Shelly has been working in feature animation since 1986. She has credits on dozens of animated films including "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?", "Shrek 1-4", "Shark Tale", "Madagascar", "Kung Fu Panda", and "How to Train Your Dragon".

Animation Career
Shelley started her career in animation in London with animator Richard Williams, author of "The Animator's Survival Kit" - the core textbook all our students use.  In 1987 Shelley was head of backgrounds on Disney's "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?", and in 1989 she was head of backgrounds at Steven Spielberg's Amblimation Studio.  In 1995 she moved to Los Angeles as one of the first team of artists to join Steven Spielberg, Jeffrey Katzenberg and David Geffen's new studio, DreamWorks Animation, as co-head of Artist Development.

Shelley is also a member of the advisory board at Escape Studios, helping us to ensure that our programmes are up-to-date and industry relevant.
