Chosen Wins "Best Director" at Vesuvius Film Festival

Congratulations to Escape Studios animation student Pietro Mingione whose short animated film "Chosen" has won its second festival award - Best Director at the Vesuvius Film Festival. 

Chosen was animated and directed by Escape Studios animation student Pietro Mingione.  "Chosen" is a short animated film about growing up, acceptance, and the power of faith.  Pietro took our MA in 3D Animation at Escape Studios, taught by veteran animator Lee Caller.

Chosen was animated in Maya, rendered in Arnold, and edited in Adobe Premiere Pro.

Pietro Mingione took our MA in 3D Animation at Escape Studios.  He also contributed to a number of projects such as the ident for the 2022 biennial BAA Awards

Pietro Mingione also contributed to the short film project "Giles & Rupert's Prehistoric Predicament" which has won many festival awards.
