Giorgos Konstaninou wins "Rookie of the Year"

Many congratulations to Escapee Giorgos Konstaninou who has won "Rookie of the Year" in the category of 3D Animation at the 2022 Rookies.

Giorgos is in his second year of studies at Escape Studios, studying for his BA in the Art of Computer Animation. 

Giorgos won the award for his animation demo reel, which he has been working on over the course of the past year.

While at Escape Studios, Giorgos has also contributed to a number of award-winning projects, including the short films 

• "Explosive Love"
• "Our Ocean" and 
• "Freefall"

all of which have enjoyed festival success.
