"Freefall" Wins "Best 1st Time Director" Award

Freefall wins Best 1st Time Director at Halicarnassus
Congratulations to the makers of "Freefall", which has won "Best First-Time Director" at the Halicarnassus Film Festival. 

"Freefall" was written and directed by Jessa Timog-Santiago, co-directed by Rohnak Sharma, and produced by Sebastian Petre.  Alex Maynard was Lead Animator and CG Supervisor.  

Freefall was created as part of a group project by second-year animation students, working together as a team.  This is its first festival award.

Freefall tells the story of a frustrated businessman who contemplates his end in a remote canyon, when an enthusiastic skydiver intervenes.

Freefall was created by second-year animation students, working together as a team, part of the "Studio Project" module PR5001.  "Freefall" was written and directed by Jessa Timog-Santiago, and produced by Sebastian Petre.  Alex Maynard was the Lead Animator and also CG Supervisor, responsible for the Unreal Engine render pipeline.
