Hiring Non-UK Animators Post-Brexit 25 March

Hiring - what are the rules?
On Thursday 25 March at 4pm Screen Skills is hosting a free webinar for UK animation studios looking to hire overseas animation talent post-Brexit. What are the rules? How easy/difficult is it to hire EU talent since the Brexit divorce, and what about remote working?

The webinar, which will be presented by immigration lawyers Anna Blackden and Elisabeth Kynaston, is aimed at animation studio owners and recruiters looking to hire non-UK animation talent in the post-Brexit immigration system. To sign up, follow this link.

Employment law
Hosted by Screen Skills
An understanding of employment law is vital for studios looking to recruit overseas talent. It is also very relevant for artists who want to understand the legal landscape and how it actually might work for them.

I'll be attending, to learn about an area of law which I currently know very little about.

Free webinar
Over the course of the 1.5 hour session, Anna and Elisabeth will explore the main visa routes into the UK for animation professionals, including the new "points based" system, visa sponsorship by UK employers, and what Brexit actually means for hiring overseas talent.

Remote Working - What is the Law?
What about overseas remote workers?
Anna and Elisabeth will also look at employment law considerations when hiring staff to work remotely from overseas.

Q&A
There will be opportunities to ask questions.
