Creative Workshops are a chance for us to get to know you, for you to get to know us, and for you to find out more about what we do at Escape Studios. This year, all our Creative Workshops have moved online.
Our Creative Workshops are all about making sure that your chosen course is a good fit for you. Before Covid-19, our workshops were held in person, and were divided into two parts - a portfolio review, followed by a creative task. Now, we do the portfolio reviews online in advance, so the Creative Workshop is now purely about doing a creative task, working together in small teams.
Creative Task
You will be invited to join a small group and carry out a creative task. You will work in small teams on a creative brief, coming up with ideas, bringing them to life, and presenting them for feedback. This task has been devised by one of our industry partners, and is the kind of challenge you would get in a real VFX/Animation/Games studio.
Most of all, relax, and enjoy the workshop. It is designed to be fun and engaging, and to bring out your natural inventiveness and creativity. We look forward to meeting you!
