Amanda Costa Animator at Jellyfish Pictures

Amanda Costa
Many congratulations to Escapee Amanda Costa who is now an animator at London's Jellyfish Pictures.

Amanda took our 12 week animation short course at Escape Studios, and now joins Escapees Luis Marcillo-Coronado, Laura KnightHenry Fenwick and Rory Marchant who also found work at Jellyfish after leaving Escape Studios.

Jellyfish Pictures is one of London's largest and most successful animation studios, working on TV series such as "Dennis and Gnasher - Unleashed" and also doing feature film work on the Star Wars franchise.

Jellyfish Pictures
Jellyfish Pictures is one of London's leading animation studios. They were founded back in 2003 by Phil Dobree, who is a member of Escape Studios' Industry Advisory Panel, in a small studio in London's Poland St.

In 2014 Jellyfish opened a new studio in Brixton in South London, and have grown rapidly since then, tackling big projects such as "Dennis and Gnasher - Unleashed" and doing vfx work on Star Wars - Rogue 1

Amanda's Demo Reel
Amanda worked hard while studying at Escape Studios, putting together a skilful demo reel, which you can see below. Based on the high standard of her work she became a studio assistant, and then went on to find work in the animation industry, first at MPC and now at Jellyfish.
