Animation Taster Day at Escape Studios Friday April 1st!

Bring characters and creatures to life!
Come and learn about character and creature animation at Escape Studios on Friday April 1st - there are still a few places available.

We're running this animation taster day to give prospective students an idea of what it's like to study animation at Escape Studios. Your career as a 3D animator starts here!

You will working with industry-standard tools like Autodesk Maya and the Adobe Creative Suite, and you’ll get a hands-on introduction to 3D Animation techniques, all for just £25. By the end of the day you'll have a cool pice of animation uploaded to your very own YouTube channel.  So, how do you sign up?

What's this all about?
This one-day taster course lets you get an introduction to the art of 3D Animation as well as explore what it’s like to work as a professional animator. To see more about what we do, watch the one minute video below.



When and where is it happening?
Friday 1st April at Escape Studios, Shepherds West, Rockley Road, London W14 0DA, from 9:30am until 5pm. To sign up, follow this link.

How do you get there?
We're super easy to reach, just a short walk from Shepherd's Bush Tube Station, Shepherd's Bush Market Tube Station, Goldhawk Rd Tube Station, and Shepherd's Bush Overground. And tons of bus routes.

How much does it cost?
Shepherd's Building, our home in Shepherd's Bush
£25.00. And this is refundable if you book onto a course at Escape Studios.

Do we provide lunch...and coffee?
We do! Lunch (the finest sandwiches in Shepherd's Bush) and coffee is free!

What will you learn?
Working with tools such as Autodesk Maya and the Adobe Creative Suite, you’ll get a hands-on introduction to 3D Animation techniques.

We'll be doing some very cool stuff in the classroom, and by the end of the day you will have your very own piece of finished, polished animation uploaded to YouTube!

Who is teaching it?
I am. I have worked on over 25 animated feature films, from "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" to "Lion King", The Iron Giant, Chronicles of Narnia and Harry Potter.   You can see some of my work below.
