A J Bleyer and The Future of AI in Film

A J Bleyer and The Future of AI in Film
At the "Adobe Next Live" event last week at London's Tate Modern, software giant Adobe presented their insights into changing technology and how educators and creatives can take advantage of the big changes currently facing the creative industries.

LA-based Commercials director A J Bleyer explored "The Future of AI in Film", using Adobe Firefly.

New Technology - Should We Fight It?
Should we be resistant to new technology? Some Nineteenth Century painters resisted the rise of paint in tubes, preferring to mix paint from pigment themselves, in the traditional way.  But paint in tubes liberated a whole generation of artists.  Maybe AI will do somthing similar?

Adobe Firefly
A J Bleyer argues that AI Tools should be embraced and folded in to our creative process.  Adobe Firefly is "insanely powerful".  You can use to create mood boards, and then create shot lists from the AI generated artwork.  Firefly content is "commercially safe", meaning that you can use it safely for commercial content, without fear of copyright infringement.  You can use these tools to create your own storyboards, create moodboards that tell a story.

AI Tools & Creative Freedom
The AI tools permit film-makers to "dream bigger", create better content that can be done quickly and cheaply.
