Games animators are not (for the most part) actors, rather they are "stunt co-ordinators". It takes a while to break into the games industry so you need to be uploading your work to games sites and showing your progress over time; recruiters and industry folks will watch your progress and keep an eye on you.
Physical Actions, Animals & Creatures
Also consider the house style of the games company you are targeting. If their house style involves fighting and shooting, you will want to have great fight choreography on your reel. A good games reel can and should include motion cycles (walks and runs) and also animal and creature locomotion.
