2024 Saturday Club showcase

Escape Studios attended the 2024 Saturday Club Summer Showcase last weekend and presented our Saturday Club students with their graduation certificates.  

Saturday Club students from this year's cohort attended with their families, with their artwork being publicly showcased at Somerset House in London.

Thanks to all our staff for giving up their time to teach the Saturday Club.  Applications for the 2024 Saturday Club are now open; it takes place from 2nd November 2024 to 15th March 2025. Applications for Saturday Club close on 22nd Sept 2024.

About Saturday Club

National Saturday Club

Escape Studios Saturday Club forms part of the National Saturday Club Campaign.

13-16 Age Group
Saturday Club is open to students between the ages of 13-16, and aims to give them a taste of life in the creative industries, such as animation, visual effects and games.

We especially welcome students from disadvantaged backgrounds, many of whom lack the opportunity at school to tackle creative subjects.

Somerset House - End of Year Showcase

The Saturday Club is a charitable organisation that aims to give students, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds, an opportunity to explore and develop their creativity,  and learn about new subjects that they wouldn't have a chance to study in school.

Creative Industries
Working with Saturday Club, Escape Studios offers young people the chance to learn the skills they will need to flourish in the creative industries.

For many students, The Saturday Club will have been their first encounter with creative thinking, and the creative industries, during their time in education.

Widening Participation
Escape Studios is committed to widening participation in the creative industries and helping all students, no matter what their background, to reach their full potential.  Running Saturday Clubs is a way of walking the walk, as well as talking the talk.

End of Year Show
Saturday Club End of Year Show takes place annually at Somerset House in Central London, including private viewings for VIPs, family and friends.  The Saturday Club Show is the culmination of all the hard work created as part of the Escape Studios Saturday Club Campaign, part of our commitment to making animation, games and VFX training more diverse and more widely accessible.

How much does it cost
