Rookies Ranks Escape No 5 Anim Production

We're delighted that The Rookies, the international online competition for aspiring VFX artists, has ranked Escape Studios No5 globally for VFX & Animation Production Excellence.

Production Excellence is an accolade awarded to the very best schools that focus on working as a team to create full 3D Animation short films. 

Team work is something we take very seriously at Escape Studios, one of the five pillars of what we call "The Escape Method". 

Group projects aren't always easy to manage, but our industry is a collaborative one, and well-organised teamwork helps to prepare our students for the realities of life in the industry.

2020 Best VFX & Animation Schools - Production Excellence 

The 2020 Best Visual Effects and Animation Schools - Production Excellence Schools and Colleges in the World rankings is updated every year by The Rookies' judges.  Production Excellence is awarded to the best schools that focus on working as a team, simulating the experience of working in a real animation studio. 

Replicating a Production Experience

According to The Rookies: "schools that replicate a production studio experience provide a great advantage to students because it encourages team work, a strong understanding of pipelines, scheduling experience, resource management and problem solving." In 2019 we also ranked in the top five. Last year The Rookies ranked Escape Studios at No4 globally for VFX and Animation Production Excellence.

This followed the success of films like Jerich0, which was "Highly Commended" in the VFX Film category.

Our Games, VFX and Animation students made a stellar showing in the 2019 Rookies contest, with multiple projects reaching the finals in all three disciplines, and a number winning "Runner Up" or "Highly Commended".
