Home Sweet Home in LISFF on 11 April

Many congratulations to the makers of our short student film Home Sweet Home, which has been selected for the animation category of The London International Student Film Festival, taking place at the Close Up Film Centre in Shoreditch on Thursday 11th April at 6pm.

The LISFF is an annual film festival that takes place in London, and aims to provide a showcase for new filmmakers’ work. Tickets can be purchased for £5 from Event Brite. To see the full line-up, follow this link.

About the LISFF
The London International Student Film Festival is an annual festival to showcase the best student work and rising talent.

The awards categories include:
  • Best International Film
  • Best British Film
  • Best Documentary
  • Best Animation
  • Best Music Video
Best animation is the category we are chiefly interested in, as this is the category that Home Sweet Home has been nominated for, but the screening will also be a chance to see great work done by many talented student film-makers in different categories. To see the full line-up, follow this link.

Where and When
The London International Student Film Festival takes place in London at the Close Up Film Centre at 97 Sclater Street, London E1 6HR on Thursday 11th April at 6pm.

At around 9pm there will be "drinks and networking" in the bar after the awards.

How to get there
The quickest way to get to the Close Up Cinema from Escape Studios is to take the Central Line to Liverpool St (15 mins), and then walk to the cinema (15 mins). You can also take the number 8 bus if you don't fancy the walk.
