We're Hiring a New Animation Tutor!

Escape Studios is expanding and we're looking for a new animation tutor!

We're searching for a skilled animator with good industry credits, someone who is a good communicator - and ideally with a fair bit of teaching experience.

Teaching software can be a dry business so we're also hoping for someone who can make the classroom experience fun and engaging.

What's this all about?
Teaching animation! To undergraduate animators, games and VFX students. Also short courses, and - potentially - post-graduate students as well.

Where?
Central London, at our 190 High Holborn campus, and also in Shepherd's Bush, West London.

How much does it pay?
The official post is mysteriously shy about the salary on offer but apparently it's "in the region of £45-55k".

Is an MA a requirement?
Not necessarily. We like folks with academic qualifications but Escape Studios is mainly about industry experience, teaching job-relevant skills.

We teach primarily character and creature animation, with a focus on the VFX industry in London, and also the growing TV and games sectors.  Broadcast Graphics is another expanding sector that has specific skills shortages. All our tutors maintain close contact with industry to make sure we're always teaching the latest software, and that all our graduates and Escapees have job-relevant skills, maximising their opportunities for a long and successful career.
