About Dan Shutt
You'll hear from Dan Shutt, Immersive Media lecturer with over 25 years' industry experience, including immersive projects for Glastonbury, Coachella and the Science Museum.
Dan Shutt is one of our most experienced VFX tutors, with over 23 years’ experience in a wide variety of 3D fields, from feature film effects and games graphics, to TV commercials and live performances. Dan has been with Escape Studios since 2009.
Dan teaches our short course and MA in 3D VFX, and is also an expert in Houdini, the leading software for physics-based FX work such as water, fire and smoke. He also creates live experiences at Glastonbury Festival and The Science Museum.
Anna Komitska
Dan will be joined by Anna Komitska, an MA Game Art Escapee, and now a Creative Technologist. She was recently awarded a £5,000 grant by Immersive Arts UK to develop the prototype for a new fine art installation.
