Escape Studios UG Term Dates 2025-26

Our undergraduate term dates for the academic year starting in September 2025 have been published - you can see the dates on the left or download the full PDF here.

Enrolment for our new undergraduate students starts on Monday 8th September; Welcome Week starts on Monday 15th September, and formal teaching begins on Monday 22nd September.  As always, we will extend a warm welcome to all our new students this September.

First Year at Escape Studios

First Year Animation by Maria Robertson

The First Year at Escape Studios is the same for all our undergraduate students studying "The Art of..." subjects, whether they are studying The Art of Animation, The Art of VFX, or The Art of Games.  

Common First Year

This Common First Year means that in the first year of studies ("Level 4"), all our "Art of..." UG students study a broad, flexible curriculum, enabling them to understand the whole animation, games and VFX pipeline before committing to their specialism in their second year.
