Directed by Josh Popusoi , and produced by Erik Bocsor, "Socks To Be You" was a collaboration between undergraduate animation students and VFX students at Escape Studios, working together to create an original story.
Studio projects such as this one form part of The Escape Method; bringing together students with multiple talents to work in teams, responding to industry feedback - in this case from Industrial Light & Magic. This is its first festival award.
Socks To Be You
"Socks To Be You" tells the story of what goes on in the launderette after the customers have left.

"Socks To Be You" was overseen by Escape Studios Tutors Marc Stevenson (Animation), Riccardo Zanarini (Houdini), Ilaria Colavito (3D VFX) and Sokratis Synitos (2D VFX). Irene Gomez-Emilsson assisted with Cinematography.
