Come along and find out what's involved in our compositing courses at Escape Studios.
Compositing has one of the highest rates of employability in the VFX industry, with close to 100% of our compositing Escapees finding work in their chosen field.
Compositing is the process of combining visual elements from separate sources into a single image, to create the illusion that all the elements form part of a seamless whole.
The 2D VFX Taster takes place at our new North Greenwich home at 6 Mitre Passage, North Greenwich, SE10 0ER on Wednesday 20th September 2023. It starts at 10am and lasts until 5pm. The day costs £10.
Lunch is provided as part of the £10 attendance fee.

This all-day Compositing Taster is a hands-on introduction to the basic concepts and workflow of compositing for VFX; including rotoscoping, colour correction and integrating CG elements with a live action plate. As well as that, you’ll get to experience the buzz of utilising NUKE's 2.5/3D system. You’ll also take a look at VFX breakdowns, compositing showreels used to secure work with recruiters and some recommended reading so you can continue your research at home.
