Jake Lee AfterCare Co-ordinator at Escape

Jake Lee
A warm welcome to Escapee Jake Lee, who took our Animation Short Course, and has just joined Escape Studios as our new "After Care Co-ordinator", helping us to deliver the best possible student experience.

After Care is one of the ways that we keep in touch with our students after formal classes have ended, helping students to keep polishing their work and cut together a successful demo reel.

Many students at Escape Studios will know Jake already; he is a talented actor, animator and film-maker, who led the MoCap performance for the award-winning short film "Alma"

Statement from Jake Lee

“I took the 12 Week Short Course in Animation at Escape Studios back in February 2020 and fell in love with Escape Studios!  After my course finished, I was lucky enough to help out the MA students on two films.

Our most recent film, Alma, was the first motion-capture film released by Escape and I had the great privilege of being the actor in the motion-capture suit for the film, which was a great experience.

I am very honoured to be joining the Escape Studios team as the Aftercare Coordinator and I am looking forward to assisting Escapees with any queries during their aftercare!”

The Escape Studios Animation Blog offers a personal view on the art of animation and visual effects. To find out more about our new BA/MArt, now recruiting for September 2019, follow this link.
