Talent Development & Networking April 3

Chair: Andrew Brassington
Escape Studios are hosting an online panel discussion on Friday April 3rd, on the subject of Talent Development and Networking in the animation, games and VFX industries.

The panel will be hosted online on Friday from 12.30pm to 1.30pm, and is chaired by Andrew Brassington, Head of Talent Development at Escape Studios.

Industry guests include Amy Smith, Head of Talent at Framestore, and Simon Devereux, Head of Learning and Development at The Mill and Founder of Access VFX.
Networking
As always, we recommend our students sign up for events like this one. Networking is an important part of forging a career as a digital artist, but it's not a skill that always comes naturally to artists. Our industry guests will discuss and give advice on subjects such as
  • the different ways our students can continue to network, meet new people and make new contacts remotely
  • the concept of effective and targeted networking
  • the range of organisations which exist in the world of VFX, Animation, and Games
  • how to network if you are shy or inexperienced
The format will be a panel discussion for around 30 mins followed by open Q and A session. Students will be able to ask direct questions.
