This is a free course, which normally costs over £600. There are 30 spaces, and class takes place on Monday 14th October and run until December 2nd, from 6:30-8:30pm, on the 1st floor, at 190 High Holborn WC1.

An understanding of the principles of web coding is a very useful addition to the animator's toolkit.

Code First: Girls Team has been busy organising Autumn courses in coding, and are running their "Intro to Web Development course" at Pearson College London. If any of our students would like to learn how to build a website, learn HTML, CSS and some JavaScript, too, then you can register here".
Why learn to code?
For animators and VFX artists, having a knowledge of html can be a huge help to understand the functionality of websites. Any Escapee who wants to set up their own business needs to be able to create their own website - or else pay someone else to do it.
As always, we encourage our students to sign up, so they can acquire the broadest range of digital skills.
