BYOA - animators getting feedback

BYOA (Bring Your Own Animation) is back - taking place in London on Monday 18th February.

Organised by the London chapter of SIGGRAPH, BYOA is an animation event that takes place every month at a pub in central London, generally on a Monday night.

This month BYOA is taking place the Smugglers Tavern in Fitzrovia, a short walk from Escape Studios.

About BYOA 
If you are a student or a recent graduate who is working on a shot or an updated reel, bring your work on a USB or hard drive (best not to rely on the WiFi) and get feedback from professional animators. You'll also hear the local gossip and find out who might be hiring juniors.

How to get there

It's a chance for students to bring their work and get feedback from working Animators. It's also a chance to find out the gossip - who is hiring, when, and for what kind of roles.  What kind of demo reels are studios looking for? Who is hiring juniors? Industry professionals will know what kind of work needs to go on an animation reel in order to get hired for the next big project.

How much does BYOA cost?

Nothing. The event is free (but not the drinks).

We recommend that all our students attend events like this. Being in Central London has its disadvantages, but being able to take advantage of easy access to the industry, and industry events like this one, is one of the major benefits of our central London location.
