Evening With Henry Badgett Wednesday 5 April

Meet the man behind Games of Thrones
Escape Studios is hosting another "Evening With..." coming up on Wednesday 5 April  at our Shepherd's Bush studio, with Henry Badgett.  Henry is a VFX Supervisor at BlueBolt, and one of the original supervisors on Games of Thrones

Henry will be showing our students his work and talking about his experience in the VFX industry.

This is a superb event for everyone who would like to find out more about 3D and VFX.  And if that isn't enough for you, there will - as ever - be free pizza and beer.

Henry Badgett
What's this about?
It's our next Evening With event...with Henry Badgett - VFX Supervisor at BlueBolt.  Henry joined the company at its conception 7 years ago, as a 2D Supervisor on Season One of Game of Thrones, and is now one of their main VFX Supervisors. To date he has supervised various projects such as Great Expectations (BBC), Peaky Blinders (BBC/Tiger Aspect), War and Peace (BBC/The Weinstein Company) and Taboo (Scott Free/Hardy Son and Baker), both on set and leading a team of artists in-house.

Henry is currently supervising the shoot for BlueBolt of Robin Hood: Origins for Lionsgate and Holmes & Watson for Columbia Pictures, both due out in the UK & US in 2018.

What's happening on the night?
Henry will present BlueBolt's work on the recent BBC show Taboo. Going in depth beyond showreel breakdowns he will discuss the full process of creating the 2.5D set extensions, and give an insight into the differences between TV and film work for VFX artists.
